Cambridge Methodist Circuit

The Methodist Church in south Cambridgeshire & Royston, Hertfordshire

 The wider Connexion:

A circuit is an administrative grouping of churches within the same geographical area which fall under the leadership of a superintendent minister and team of circuit stewards. The Cambridge Circuit is in East Anglia, centred around the university city of Cambridge, and lies around fifty-five miles north of London.

Cambridge Circuit contains eleven churches in total (including Local Ecumenical Partnerships) which lie between Royston to the south and Histon to the north. Each church has an individual identity and presence within its local area, but also embraces being part of the wider community.

If you are a visitor or newcomer to our area, or reside here, but are seeking out a Church community for the first time, you are warmly welcomed to browse this website to discover a Church that may meet your spiritual and pastoral needs.

Each circuit belongs to a larger grouping of circuits in turn divided into districts. The Cambridge Circuit is part of the East Anglia District of the Methodist Church chaired by Reverend Helen Hollands. The District website can be found here.

The East Anglia District is part of the Methodist Church in Britain. Click here for more details of the wider Methodist connexion and church organisation.
