Come and join us!
All Are Welcome

Our churches would love to have you join them at a regular Sunday service,
or at one of their many midweek activities.

Worship takes place across the Circuit every Sunday morning at each of our churches. Informal worship is also welcomed and encouraged through our inclusive 'Feast: Church Around Tables' services in Chesterton, and through 'Messy Church' gatherings in Royston and Haslingfield - please see individual Church websites for further details.

Most of our Sunday services are followed by refreshments, and provide a chance to meet and get to know our friendly and inclusive communities.

We strive to be accessible to all, and to provide equal opportunities to worship across all our churches. If you have specific access requirements or concerns which you would like to discuss, please contact the Circuit Office, who will put you in touch with someone at the Church you're interested in visiting.

The Cambridge Circuit is part of the Methodist Church in Britain. Click here for more details of the connexion and wider church organisation.

A circuit is an administrative grouping of churches within the same area which fall under the leadership of a superintendent minister and team of circuit stewards. The Cambridge Circuit is in East Anglia, centred around the university city of Cambridge, and lies around fifty-five miles north of London.

Our superintendent is Reverend Kevin Highfield, who resides in Cambridge, but regularly leads worship across all of our churches, and attends events throughout the Circuit.

The Circuit contains eleven churches in total (including our Local Ecumenical Partnerships) which lie between Royston to the south, and Histon to the north. Each church has an individual identity and presence within its local community, but also embraces being part of the wider group.

We are part of the East Anglia District of the Methodist Church, headed by the district chair, Reverend Helen Hollands. The District website can be found here

If you are a visitor or newcomer to our area, or reside here, but are seeking out a Church community for the first time, you are warmly welcomed to browse this website to discover a Church that may meet your spiritual and pastoral needs.

Please contact the Circuit Office if you would like more information; our friendly staff will be happy to put you in touch with a steward or minister at a particular Church so that you can find out more.

If you are already a member of our community, please use this website for information about the current preaching plan, upcoming events, and access to the Circuit Bulletin.

Please bear with us as we update this site, and try to ensure it's user-friendly!
